FAREWELL DR. RIVERA AND CLASSMATES

Post your final goodbye entry.  It has been a pleasure having all of you as students.  I will certainly miss all of you, but I am confident that you will use the skills that you've gained to empower the children of Pohnpei.  Good luck!

Best regards,
Dr. Rivera

  1. Dr. Rivera,
It has been an honor learning with you. I will never forget that learning is ongoing and I will strive to pursue my education at higher targets. Thank you very much. I wish all the best for you and hope that you come back next summer to help my other colleagues. I really enjoyed the short time that I spent with ED489 this summer. I learned many new important ideas of assessment and look forward to using them. Kalahngan and Kaselehlie.

  2. Like Carter, I will always keep in mind that learning is ongoing to help me when teaching my students. Though the course was very short, I learned a lot of things. Those resources that are in our website will forever be used by me. Not only that I have learned new many things, I am now equipped with many teaching strategies, guidelines for creating assessments, etc. To end this, whenever I will get stuck, I will always refer back to all the resources that i can use from our website. Thank you and Kaselehlie to you too. it was awesome to learn in a different but resourceful way.

  6. I will always remember you when I come across an assessment that has to do with graphic organizers. These forms of assessment are the gift that shall not be forgotten.
